Tips
Clean the chamber at least once a week—use either a special cleaning powder or load unprocessed pieces of zirconia to absorb contaminants.
Any zirconia requires drying under an IR lamp for at least 20 minutes before sintering, especially if it is colored. Moisture causes microcracks and structural defects.
Do not use household hair dryers or ovens to dry zirconia. Only an IR lamp with diffused heat, at a distance of no closer than 20 cm.
After each sintering cycle, let the furnace cool down to <100 °C with the door closed. Opening a hot chamber can disrupt the temperature profile and deform the product.
Perform a calibration cycle according to the manufacturer's instructions every 2–3 months. This helps maintain heating uniformity and sintering accuracy.
